– SOL’S imposes a code of conduct on its factories in Bangladesh
– to protect children, SOL’S actively encourages their access to education and imposes strict adherence to employee age restrictions on its partner factories
– to ensure the best working conditions for workers and to improve the situation of women, SOL’S is actively supporting the ongoing work of the Nari Uddog NGO in Bangladesh, which is working to improve working conditions in the textile sector, emancipate women and defend their right to equal treatment.

– is giving full finance for a hospital to be built in Bangladesh
– SOL’S has been awarded Oeko-Tex certification for its key products which ensures that:

– in its factories, SOL’S offers the best hygiene and health conditions thanks to its integrated medical centre.
03_SOL’S IS ALSO PROMOTING RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
– by marketing SOL’S Organic, a T-shirt made from 100% organic cotton, certified by an independent organism, SOL’S is encouraging the cultivation of organic cotton.
– SOL’S has initiated a unique programme for the reprocessing of waste water in its partner factories.
– SOL’S has chosen to publish its catalogue on paper from sustainably managed PEFC forests which has been bleached without chlorine
– SOL’S has chosen to print its catalogue with a printer approved by IMPRIM’VERT which attests to good environmental practices.

By marketing SOL’S Fair, a T-shirt made with MAX HAVELAR fair trade cotton, SOL’S is contributing to improving living conditions in Africa.
